Tell Commercial Entry Ball Knob is a heavy-duty commercial entry ball knob designed for durability and security. It features a satin stainless steel finish that offers a sleek and professional look. This knob complies with ANSI A156.2 Series 4000, Grade 2 standards, ensuring reliable performance with a lifespan of up to 400,000 cycles. It is UL listed for use on 3-hour fire doors, making it suitable for demanding commercial environments. The keying system includes a 6-pin SCC keyway and comes with two nickel keys per lock for convenient access. It fits doors ranging from 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick and has a standard 2-3/4" backset. The latchbolt is operated by knobs on both sides, with the outside knob locked by a push-button from the inside. Unlocking from the outside requires a key, while the inside knob can be rotated to unlock. When locked by the push-and-turn button, the outside knob cannot be unlocked by key or inside knob rotation, enhancing security. The cylindrical lock is steel-coated with zinc dichromate for corrosion resistance, and it includes a standard T strike plate.
