System Three Clear Coat Kit, 12 oz. is perfect for clear coating wood and wetting out fiberglass cloth to achieve bright, finished boats. It serves as an excellent build coat for clear linear polyurethane or varnish coatings and works effectively as a penetrating first coat for blister repair on fiberglass boats. This clear coat is also suitable for applications requiring a long pot life and low viscosity. Ideal as the sole epoxy system for crafting wood strip canoes and kayaks, it provides a brilliantly clear, very tough finish without the common "amine blush" found in some epoxy resin films. The product contains no volatile solvents and can be accelerated with Turbo Cure in cold weather by adding up to 1 fluid ounce per quart of resin. Additionally, a variety of color epoxy dispersed pigments are available, allowing you to create your own colored epoxy.
