This reinforcer is secured by four 2-inch long hardened screws, ensuring a strong hold. Its strike box is engineered to prevent lock bolts from being pushed in with a punch on out-opening doors, providing added protection against forced entry. The two mounting screws positioned at the bottom of the box are offset and angled to the center of the jamb, creating a solid connection between the strike and the door frame stud. Made from heavy 16-gauge steel, this reinforcer offers durability and strength. The box measures 1-5/8 inches in height, 3/4 inch in width, and 1-1/4 inches in depth, while the face plate dimensions are 4-7/8 inches high by 1-1/4 inches wide.
