Stairtrends SURE-TITE™ Newel Fastening System makes securing newel posts quick and reliable, allowing installation in just ten minutes. Designed to stay tight without loosening over time, this system eliminates the need for additional framing, mortising, or coping. It uses existing floor joists for sturdy support and can be installed directly over any finished flooring. The bolt features 13 threads at the top, a 5-inch smooth section, and 23 threads at the bottom to anchor into the floor joist securely. The kit includes one 11-inch lag bolt, a washer, a nut, and two 1-1/2-inch flat plugs in Red Oak and Poplar finishes, providing everything needed for a professional installation. Model Number: B3008
