SpeedFinish Patching & Finishing Compound

SpeedFinish Patching & Finishing Compound is a fast-curing, cement-based patching and skim coating product designed to provide a smooth finish on a variety of substrates before installing floor coverings. This versatile compound allows for the installation of most floor coverings in as little as 15 minutes, making it an excellent choice for projects requiring quick turnaround. It works effectively as an embossed vinyl floor leveler and can be applied from featheredge up to 1/2 inch thick. SpeedFinish eliminates common installation issues such as bond failure, crumbling, mildew, and staining caused by free moisture in traditional underlayments. Suitable for use over concrete, cement backer boards, RedGard Waterproofing & Anti-fracture Membrane, exterior grade plywood (for interior applications), ceramic tile, pavers, brick, stone, concrete terrazzo, sheet vinyl, VCT tile, and cutback adhesive (non-water soluble), it is important to avoid applying it over OSB, particle board, hardwood, parquet floors, metal, cushion-backed vinyl flooring, or in temperatures below 50°F (10°C). Coverage is approximately 250 to 300 square feet when used as a skim coat, with a 10 lb. box yielding about 30 square feet at 1/8 inch thickness. The compound mixes easily with water and cleans up with water before drying. It comes in a powder form that ranges from light gray to white and is packaged in a 10 lb. box. Model Number: SF10
