Sorby TurnMaster Shank with #1, 2 & 3 HSS Cutters is the un-handled (shank only) version of the versatile Robert Sorby TurnMaster Tool, featuring all three primary high speed steel cutters: round, detail point, and square. This innovative tool combines three cutting edge technologies in one, making it the most flexible and valuable single turning tool available today. Designed to accept any of the three standard cutters as well as a variety of specially configured cutting tips, the TurnMaster offers both scraping for fast material removal and shear scraping for fine finishing and smoothing. Its round shank includes a flat underside for stability on the rest and a high tensile strength torx screw to securely hold the cutters. The package includes a special key for quick cutter release, along with one each of the Round, Detail Point, and Square High Speed Steel cutters. The TurnMaster is compatible with cutters made from tungsten carbide, high speed steel, and titanium nitride coated Excelsior tips, allowing woodturners to choose the best cutter for their material and project needs. The HSS and TiN cutters are also re-sharpenable, providing lasting performance.
