Sorby Spiralling Tool

Sorby Spiralling Tool is a versatile and innovative woodturning tool that allows turners of nearly any skill level to create beautiful spirals and textured effects with ease. Originally a technique reserved for advanced turners, spiralling can now be enjoyed by all thanks to the Robert Sorby Spiralling Tool. This tool is a further development of Sorby’s texturing tool and can be used to produce left and right handed spirals, barley twists, rope effects, flutes, and even checkered patterns. Its unique rest features indexed reference positions that enable precise replication of spirals, while varying the presentation angle or cutter type allows for different pitch and twist profiles. The tool boasts an 11-inch long ash handle and measures approximately 16 inches in total length. Included with the Spiralling Tool are a graduated rest, a 4mm spiralling cutter, and an instruction sheet.
