The TiN finish reduces friction between the tool and wood, making it especially effective when working with hard or abrasive woods and knotted burrs. Crafted from triple tempered High Speed Steel (HSS) with a Rockwell hardness equivalent of 80, it combines longevity with easy sharpening using a diamond file.
