SharkBite 1/2" x 1/2" Push-to-Connect MNPT Brass Elbow (1/4 Bend) offers an innovative solution for pipe connections, combining ease of use with exceptional strength. Designed with a newly engineered stainless-steel retainer, this fitting delivers enhanced durability and a high pressure rating of 250 psi. Installation is quick and effortless, requiring no soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools. It works seamlessly with PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, and HDPE pipes without the need for a PEX tube liner. The fitting can be rotated after installation for easy adjustments, and it can be removed just as quickly with a disconnect tool, allowing for convenient changes or reuse of fittings and valves. SharkBite Max fittings provide twice the burst pressure and require half the insertion effort compared to previous models. They comply with U.S. and Canadian plumbing codes and come with a 25-year warranty when used with PEX, copper, CPVC, and PE-RT, and a five-year warranty for HDPE SDR-9 pipes.
