This fitting features a newly designed stainless-steel retainer that enhances strength and durability, supporting a 250-psi pressure rating. Its re-engineered body allows for easier pipe insertion without the need for a PEX tube liner. Installation is quick and simple, with no soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools needed. It provides the fastest connection for PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, and HDPE pipes. After installation, the fitting can be rotated for quick adjustments, and it can be easily removed with a disconnect tool, making it convenient to change or reuse fittings and valves. SharkBite Max fittings are the fastest compared to other conventional plumbing methods and improve upon the first generation of SharkBite push-to-connect products.
