SharkBite Dual Brass Push Shut-Off Valve, 1/2" x 3/8" - 3/8" Compression features SharkBite Max push-to-connect fittings that make pipe connections with half the insertion effort while withstanding double the burst pressure. This valve includes a newly designed stainless-steel retainer for added strength and durability, providing a 250-psi pressure rating. The re-engineered body allows easy pipe insertion without the need for a PEX tube liner. Installation requires no soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools, making it the fastest way to connect PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, and HDPE pipes. After installation, the fitting can be rotated for quick adjustments, and it can be removed just as quickly with a disconnect tool, allowing for easy changes or reuse of fittings and valves. SharkBite push-to-connect fittings are faster compared to other conventional plumbing methods, especially when compared to first-generation SharkBite products.
