SharkBite 1" x 1" Push-to-Connect Female Adapter is designed to make pipe connections easier and more reliable with half the insertion effort and double the burst pressure capacity. This fitting features a newly engineered stainless-steel retainer that enhances strength and durability, supporting a pressure rating of 250 psi. It includes a female iron pipe end and a brass push fitting, eliminating the need for soldering, glue, unions, or special tools. Certified by UPC, IAPMO, and NSF-61, this fitting is both removable and reusable with a disconnect clip. Compatible with copper, PEX, and CPVC pipes, it is rated for temperatures up to 200°F and pressures up to 250 psi. Made from one-piece DZR brass, it can be safely buried or installed behind drywall. Each product is individually bagged and manufactured to meet strict lead content limits on wetted surfaces. It complies with U.S. and Canadian plumbing codes and comes with a 25-year warranty when installed on PEX, copper, CPVC, and PE-RT, and a five-year warranty for HDPE SDR-9 installations.
