SharkBite 1/2" x 3/8" Compression Brass Stop Valve features SharkBite Max push-to-connect fittings that make pipe connections with half the insertion effort while offering double the burst pressure resistance. Designed with a newly engineered stainless-steel retainer, this valve provides enhanced strength and durability, supporting a 250-psi pressure rating. Its re-engineered body allows for easier pipe insertion without the need for a PEX tube liner. Installation is quick and simple, requiring no soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools. This valve is the fastest way to connect PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, and HDPE pipes. Once installed, the fitting can be rotated for quick adjustments, and removal is just as fast using a disconnect tool, enabling easy changes or reuse of fittings and valves.
