It features a trapezoid-perforated anchoring leg that securely embeds into the mortar bond coat beneath the tile, creating a symmetrically rounded outer corner with a 1/4" (6 mm) radius along the surface edge. Available in a variety of materials including stainless steel, solid brass, chrome-plated solid brass, color-coated aluminum, anodized aluminum, Tuscan color-coated aluminum, and PVC, this profile offers excellent options for color coordination with tile and grout, allowing for decorative and stylish accents. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, Schluter Rondec protects tile edges from mechanical damage and wear, with the stainless steel version providing particularly strong edge protection.
