It includes 1.5 inches of insulation to maintain temperature and a glass-lined tank with an anode rod for long-lasting durability. The water heater is equipped with PEX polymer lined heat trap nipples and a PEX dip tube to enhance performance. Safety and efficiency are prioritized with a stainless steel flame arrestor, a door-mounted manual reset temperature cut-off, and a self-powered Honeywell Millivolt Generator Gas Control Valve. This model meets the new NAECA 2015 Efficiency Standards and is approved with Next Generation FVIR technology. It features a draft diverter outlet size of 3 inches with an integrated adapter for a 4-inch vent option, and the air intake is located at the entire base of the heater.
