Record Power Record Power VersaLock 1-1⁄4" / 32 mm Multi-Toothed Sprung Drive Center Insert is designed to convert a compatible VersaLock chuck setup into a secure and accurate drive center for between-centers spindle turning. Featuring a larger 32 mm (1-1/4") diameter, it offers a wider contact area than the 22 mm model, making it ideal for handling larger or heavier spindle blanks where a dependable grip and stable drive are essential. The spring-loaded center point helps to locate and align the workpiece before the surrounding multi-tooth ring engages with the timber. This ring of drive teeth distributes contact across multiple points, providing a secure drive while minimizing excessive penetration and reducing the risk of splitting the workpiece. As part of the VersaLock modular jaw system, this insert can be quickly fitted or removed without needing to replace the entire jaw set, which reduces setup time and enhances the versatility of compatible Record Power chucks.
