Ready Seal Mission Brown Stain, 5 Gallon is a professional-grade, oil-based, semi-transparent stain and sealer combined into one powerful product. Designed with a Goof-Proof™ system, Ready Seal requires no back-brushing and will never leave runs, laps, or streaks. It needs no primer and can be applied by spraying, rolling, or brushing without diluting or thinning. The product self-blends without the need for wet-line application and can be used in any temperature range. Unlike other stains, Ready Seal contains no linseed or vegetable oils, which helps prevent algae and fungus growth. It is formulated to never crack, chip, flake, or peel, ensuring a durable finish. For application, clean the wood surface thoroughly, removing mildew, dust, dirt, oil, and grease. All previous stains and sealers must be fully removed, and caustic strippers neutralized. Wood must be completely dry for at least 48 hours before staining. Protect plants and porous surfaces during application, as the stain will penetrate any porous material. Pressure washing should be done carefully to avoid damaging the wood. New wood requires no sanding before staining, but if sanding is preferred, dust must be cleaned off before applying the stain.
