Mohawk Ultra Penetrating NGR Stain Obeche, Quart is a high-quality dye-type stain that offers superior transparency and excellent fade resistance, making it ideal for enhancing the natural beauty of wood grain on furniture and cabinets. This stain combines the best characteristics of water, alcohol, and lacquer dyes, allowing for versatile application methods including brushing, wiping, or spraying directly on wood, or mixing with lacquer for toning. It is pre-matched to colors similar to Mohawk's M545 Wood Wiping Stains and allows for color customization by intermixing shades. The stain is non-bleeding when top coated with most solvent-borne finishes, though color bleeding should be tested with water-borne topcoats. Users can adjust color intensity with the M520-0001 Ultra Penetrating Stain Reducer and extend open time with M520-0002 Ultra Penetrating Stain Retarder. Designed for interior use only, it cleans up easily with water and complies with 120 VOC regulations. This product comes in a convenient 1-quart size and is proudly made in the USA.
