Milescraft Toolstand elevates your rotary tool's performance to a "Machine Tool" standard by transforming it into a precision milling machine. Much like mounting a router to a router table, this drill press style stand allows you to cut perfectly perpendicular holes with ease. It features a depth-stop gauge for effortless repetition, ensuring consistent results every time. The solid metal head is compatible with most Dremel-style rotary tools and securely holds them in place. Smooth and accurate tool movement is achieved through spring-loaded rack and pinion gearing, with drilling depths set using the integrated depth scale. An integral depth stop provides repeatability of cuts when needed, and the head has a maximum travel of 7 inches. A locking mechanism keeps the tool firmly in place for continuous milling operations. The steel support column stands 13-1/2 inches tall and fits securely into a durable steel base plate. The top-mounted Cord Clip prevents the cord from interfering while you work. The 9.5 by 7 inch formed steel base can rest unattached on a bench or be easily clamped or mounted. Both the surface and mounting platforms of the base have been milled to ensure a level work surface, and rubber feet prevent movement during use. Please note that the rotary tool itself is not included.
