Microjig Standard Kerf MJ Splitter is a low-cost jig designed to enhance safety and performance during cutting tasks. Crafted from durable polycarbonate, this original MJ Splitter System helps you achieve safe, precise, and virtually burn-free cuts by preventing stock from binding, burning, and kicking back. It installs easily in any zero clearance insert in under 30 minutes and can be quickly removed and replaced in seconds once installed. The kit includes two splitters, each adjustable in several .003" increments from the center point of the pins to the left of the blade. This offset creates slight tension, allowing the splitter to function like a mini-feather board. It is an ideal companion to the Grr-Ripper (#76803) and is designed for 90-degree cuts only, not suitable for tilted arbor cuts.
