Makita XGT® Cordless 10-1/4 in. Circular Rear Handle Saw Kit features a powerful brushless motor delivering 4,000 RPM of no-load speed with an extra-large 3-3/4-inch cutting capacity at 90°. This saw is designed to cut four times more material in a single pass and offers faster cutting performance than corded competitor saws. Integrated within the Makita XGT® system, the tool optimizes performance and provides twice the power under heavy loads while protecting against overloading, over-discharging, and overheating. When paired with the included 4.0 Ah battery, it can deliver up to 150 cuts in 4x4 SPF lumber on a single charge. Weighing only 13.3 pounds, which is 3.2 pounds lighter than comparable corded models, its ergonomic design reduces user fatigue during extended use. The saw offers a bevel angle up to 56° with positive stops at 22.5° and 45°, and features an automatic torque drive that adjusts cutting speeds under load alongside an electric brake for maximum productivity. Durability is enhanced with a base, blade guard, and blade cover made from die-cast magnesium. The kit includes an onboard offset wrench for quick blade changes and a retractable tool hook for convenient tool securing. Compatible with Makita’s Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS®) via Bluetooth technology (transmitter sold separately), it enables wireless communication between the tool and dust extractor. The saw also incorporates Makita’s Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™), which seals the tool to channel water and dust away from internal components.
