Makita 18V LXT® Cordless Compact Router (Tool Only) is designed to deliver precision and durability for cabinetry and woodworking projects. Featuring a BL™ Brushless Motor and a variable speed control dial, this router allows users to easily match the speed to their specific application. Its robust aluminum housing and base ensure long-lasting performance, while the smooth rack-and-pinion fine depth adjustment system provides more precise settings for enhanced accuracy. Dual LED lights illuminate the work area, improving visibility during operation. This compact router is compatible with bases for Makita Corded Compact Routers (RT0700C, RT0701C) and works seamlessly with Makita vacuum cleaners. When paired with a Makita 18V LXT Lithium-Ion 5.0Ah battery (sold separately), it can deliver up to 380 feet of cutting performance in red oak using a ¼-inch straight bit at a depth of 5/32-inch. Additional features include a plunge capacity of 0 to 1-3/8" with the plunge base attached (sold separately), a plunge capacity of 0 to 1-9/16" with the trimmer base attached (sold separately), a shaft lock for quick bit changes, easy-to-read depth scales, and an On/Off button with a separate lock button to help prevent accidental starts.
