These fine India type tapered honing stones are crafted to sharpen tools so they cut more easily and cleanly, extending their lifespan. The kit includes small and large tapered cones tailored for different chisel sizes, with the small cone fitting 1/4" and 5/16" chisels and the large cone suited for 3/8" and 1/2" chisels. The tapered stones are also compatible with all sizes of matching auger bits. For Forstner bits, the cones are ideal for sharpening the inside rims, while the wedge is perfect for the flat blade of the bit. These stones can also be used on carving tools and are intended for use with honing oil to maximize effectiveness.
