Freud 5/8 in. Precision Forstner Bit

Freud 5/8 in. Precision Forstner Bit features a double-ground, razor-sharp serrated edge that slices smoothly throughout the rotation, minimizing splintering and chipping to create flawless flat-bottom holes. Its unique geometric design includes multiple cutting edges that enhance shearing action, allowing for faster rotational speeds and more efficient cutting. Unlike competitive Forstner bits that produce small chips and dust causing friction and heat, this bit maintains sharpness longer and delivers holes with smooth edges that require no sanding. Constructed with quality forged materials for extended life, it includes an ultra-sharp spur for precise starting holes and steep angled cutting edges that produce smooth, flat holes and fast, clean chip removal with chisel-like curls. Freud backs this bit with a Limited Lifetime Guarantee. Model Number:
