Compact design

With a length of 6-5/32" (15.6 cm) and a height of 8-1/8" (2.6 cm) (incl. battery), the CXS 18 is extremely compact.

18 volt power

Compact in size with full-size capabilities with the power of an 18 V battery. Ideally suited for all applications with screws up to 1/4" (6 mm). All 18-volt lithium-ion battery packs fit on the CXS 18 (except for the Ergo battery pack).

Impressive performance

The CXS 18 also performs impressively when working with Forstner drill bits up to 1-3/8" (35 mm) and screws up to 1/4" x 9-1/2" (6x24 mm) in softwood.

Optimal lighting

With the integrated LED light, you can work precisely even in dark corners - continuous lighting, afterglow or LED off can be controlled via the onboard dial. The brightness and duration of the afterglow can also be customized via the Work App.

Always at your side, keeping your hands free : The belt clip can be positioned for right and left-handed users.

Easy configuration of the right-hand/left-hand selector switch. LED control to adjust the brightness, the duration of the afterglow and the duration of the continuous light. Easily adjusted with a Bluetooth battery and the Festool Work App.

CENTROTEC tool chuck - for even faster bit changes

For instantly changing between drilling, countersinking and driving: The CENTROTEC tool chuck, is a chuck and bit holder in one. For use with numerous CENTROTEC accessories. Half the size and weighs 8% less than a standard chuck; exclusively found only on Festool drills.

Owing to the smart FastFix interface, all attachments of the current 18 V drills are compatible with the CXS 18. No other compact driver offers this many attachments!

Excels in small spaces

The angle attachment is perfect for work around corners and reaching concealed screws at tight angles. Bits can also be inserted directly into the holder of the spindle for work in narrow spaces.

Robust Keyless Chuck for nearly all bit types

The chuck accepts bits up to 3/8" (1 mm) shank and is included with the drill - for all bits with a smooth shank. Tool-free mounting via the FastFix interface.
