Easy Wood Tools Mini Detailer - Un-Handled is designed with a reduced angle and long cutting edges that make the tool less aggressive when plunged into the workpiece. This un-handled version of the 7600 Ci4 Mini Detailer performs almost as if a bevel is being rubbed, providing a user-friendly experience while ensuring the trailing long cutting edge will not be sucked into the wood. It is important not to plunge the tool too deeply to avoid engaging both sides of the cutter excessively, which could put too much force on the setup. This Detailer excels in spindle and end grain work across most domestic woods. When working with exotic woods, extra care is advised, and raising the handle is generally preferred. The tool is ideal for turning finials, coves, beads, detail grooves, bowl tenons, dovetail cuts for chuck jaws both inside and out, undercutting, and other detail cuts where the cutter physically fits. The stainless steel blade measures 3/8" wide with an overall length of approximately 6", including the 2" shank. It comes equipped with a Ci4 Diamond shaped carbide cutter (#99349). Made in the USA.
