DAP Weldwood Cove Base Adhesive

DAP Weldwood Cove Base Adhesive is an acrylic-based adhesive designed for rapid installation of most vinyl and rubber cove bases. It offers excellent initial tack and easy spreading characteristics, making it ideal for professional and DIY projects. This adhesive securely bonds to a variety of surfaces including drywall, cured plaster, wood, plywood, hardboard, ceramic tile, fully cured concrete, and painted surfaces. It is important to note that it should not be used over vinyl wall coverings or epoxy paint. The product features an initial wet grab that helps in wrapping corners and allows immediate positioning of the cove base after application. With a coverage of 160 to 200 linear feet per gallon, it is water-resistant when dry, freeze/thaw stable, nonflammable, and compliant with VOC regulations.
