Crown Swan Neck Probe w/Carbide Cutter, Unhandled is expertly designed to work seamlessly with the Revolution modular tool system and other similar setups. This tool is perfect for turning boxes, goblets, and small hollow forms, as well as small bowls or platters. It features a 1/2" (12.7mm) diameter by 11.8" (300mm) long shank, with the last 3" (75mm) tapering to the cutting tip. The unique swan neck shape combined with the tapered design allows easy access to confined areas, making it especially useful for undercutting inside hollow forms like vases. Crafted from high strength, high tensile T19 carbon steel, the shaft is hardened for exceptional toughness. The long-lasting 0.31" (8mm) diameter cutting tip is made from fine-grained Nano Technology Tungsten Carbide and offers a 360-degree cutting edge. This feature lets you simply loosen the screw and rotate the cutter to a fresh edge when the old one dulls. Razor sharp from the start, it delivers a clean shaving cut and leaves an exceptionally smooth surface, removing material quickly and efficiently.
