The 5/8" (16mm) wide blade is crafted from M2 High Speed Steel (HSS) and hardened to a Rockwell hardness of 62-64, providing durability and sharpness. Measuring approximately 19" in total length, it features a 12-1/2" long stained Beech handle for comfortable and ergonomic use. Made in Sheffield, England, this tool is part of Crown’s elite Pro-PM series, which uses advanced Powder Metal technology to create cutting edges that last four to five times longer than conventional HSS tools. These tools are hardened between 66° and 68° Rockwell for superior wear resistance, toughness, and grind-ability.
