Cormark Exotic Lumber African Padauk 4/4 (By the Board Foot)

Cormark Exotic Lumber African Padauk 4/4 features beautiful heartwood that ranges from deep blood red streaks to a bright orange hue when freshly cut, complemented by pale yellow sapwood. This exotic lumber comes from the Pterocarpus soyauxii tree, native to West Africa and belonging to the Leguminosae family. The wood is characterized by a straight grain with some interlocking and a moderate to coarse texture, making it visually striking and unique. It is easy to work with, bonds well with adhesives, and accepts a top-quality finish, making it ideal for a variety of woodworking projects. For safety, it is recommended to work in a well-ventilated area due to the very fine dust produced during processing. ** "Random Length" means each piece may vary in length within a typical range, rather than all pieces being cut to one fixed size. This is a common way lumber and boards are sold, keeping costs lower than ordering pieces cut to a single specified length. If you need specific lengths for your project, please contact our lumber department and we'll be happy to help. ** Model Number:
