CAMO #7 x 1-7/8" ProTech Coated Trimhead Wood or Composite Deck Screw (700 Ct. Box) is designed to work seamlessly with most treated lumber, hardwood, cedar, composite, or PVC deck boards. This screw is part of the CAMO Edge Deck Fastening System, which includes CAMO Edge Fasteners, a CAMO Marksman tool, and CAMO Driver Bits, all engineered to deliver a fastener-free deck surface with ease and efficiency. The system is intended for use with most nominal 2 In. x 6 In. solid or grooved deck boards, providing a clean and professional finish. The ProTech coating on these screws offers outstanding corrosion resistance, with a 1500-hour salt spray rating. This coating consists of a zinc base layer topped with two polymer coats for enhanced durability. The screw features a reverse rake tip that removes deck material as it bores, preventing splitting and allowing smooth penetration. Its star drive design increases contact points, reducing bit slippage and wear for better performance. The aggressive lower thread pattern ensures superior holding power, while the reverse upper thread pulls the board tight to the joist for a secure fit. The unique trimhead design minimizes the visibility of the screw’s entry point, contributing to a clean, finished look on your deck surface.
