Zinsser Mold Killing Interior & Exterior Primer, Quart is a water-based fungicidal protective coating designed to effectively paint over and eliminate all existing mold, mildew, moss, fungi, odor-causing bacteria, and other fungal organisms. This primer contains an EPA-registered antimicrobial agent that prevents the growth of mold, mildew, and fungal organisms on the paint film, helping to maintain a clean and healthy surface. It also aids in covering residual microbiological and fungal stains while binding chalky siding, masonry, and metal surfaces. For areas with heavy soiling, wet or slimy conditions, or loose material, a pre-cleaning step is recommended to ensure optimal results. The primer is white with a flat sheen, formulated as a latex product, and offers coverage of 100 to 112.5 square feet per quart. It can be applied easily using a brush, roller, or airless sprayer and dries to the touch in approximately 30 minutes. Suitable for both interior and exterior use, cleanup is simple with soap and water. The package contains one quart can, providing coverage of 400 to 450 square feet per gallon.
