The ladder is equipped with slip-resistant Traction-Tred 1-1/2 inch flat D-rungs for secure footing. It includes a durable rail shield bracket and shoe with Shu-Lok slip-resistant pad and spur plate, along with the exclusive Alfo rung joint that delivers twist-proof safe performance. The rails are made of electrically non-conductive fiberglass in a bright orange color for visibility and safety. This ladder also includes a rope and pulley system for easy extension and retraction. Note that fiberglass ladders should not be stored in direct sunlight as ultraviolet rays can weaken the polyester resins over time. The Werner 28 ft.
