This fitting features SharkBite Max technology, which allows you to connect pipes with half the insertion effort while withstanding double the burst pressure. Its newly designed stainless-steel retainer provides enhanced strength and durability, supporting a pressure rating of 250 psi. The re-engineered body design eliminates the need for a PEX tube liner and makes installation faster and simpler, with no soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools required. Compatible with PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, and HDPE pipes, this coupling can be rotated after installation for quick adjustments. Removal is just as easy using a disconnect tool, enabling fittings and valves to be changed or reused with minimal effort.
