These tenons are fluted to enhance glue retention and are crafted to be approximately 1/16" shorter than the nominal length, allowing extra space in the mortise for glue application. Packaged in a resealable container, they help reduce expansion and shrinkage of the tenons, ensuring consistent performance. Made from all-natural, solid hardwood, Kreg® Loose Tenons provide strength and stability for loose tenon joinery, making them ideal for furniture, cabinetmaking, casings, and more. They are available in various sizes including 5 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm, and 10 mm, and are compatible with mortises cut using the Kreg® Edge 20V Ionic Drive™ Loose Tenon Joiner and the MortiseMate™ Loose Tenon Jig.
