This E71T-GS wire excels in all-position welding and is ideal for single pass jobs that require high travel speeds. It produces moderate to low spatter, and while no shielding gas is necessary, using an Argon/CO2 mix can further reduce spatter for cleaner welds. This wire performs exceptionally well on thin gauge mild steel, making it a versatile choice for a variety of welding tasks. The wire has a tensile strength of 70,000 psi and is recommended for use with DCEN straight polarity. Packaged in a convenient 10-pound box, it features a pink color code for easy identification.
