Powered by a 6.5 Amp motor delivering 16,500 RPM, it features a dual-mount guide fence that can be mounted on either side for consistent planing. The ratcheting depth knob allows easy depth adjustment from 0 to 1/16 inch, while the electronically counterbalanced single-blade system reduces drag time by optimally positioning the blade. Safety and convenience are enhanced with a lock-off release button that can be pressed with either hand to prevent accidental starts, and a lock-on button for extended operation. Additional features include aluminum front and rear shoes, a reversible micrograin carbide blade that lasts up to 30% longer than standard blades, a ball-joint cord swivel, spring-loaded stand, inch and metric depth scales, machined groove, and a poly micro-V drive belt, making it a reliable and efficient tool for precision woodworking.
