Whiteside A300 Slotting Cutter Arbor w/out Bearing. For use with any of Whiteside's 3-wing carbide tipped slotting cutters. The cutters are used for running slots for panels, splines, and t-moldings, and for cutting tongue and groove joints. The Arbor is sold without the standard B5 bearing but does come with a spacer washer and lock nut. Arbor has an extended shaft length of 1-7/16", which allows a wider range of possibilities for positioning or stacking bearings, spacer washers, and cutters.
Different cutting depths can be achieved automatically by adding bearings of different sizes (Sold separately. Listed below):
B5 bearing. The standard arbor bearing size - 1/2" depth of cut
B20 - 9/16" depth of cut
B25 - 3/8" depth of cut
B26 - 1/4" depth of cut
B27 - 5/8" depth of cut
