Zinsser White Interior Water Base Prime & Seal Primer, 5 Gallon is a specially developed general-purpose primer designed for professional painters. This heavy-bodied formula offers quick drying, high hiding power, and universal adhesion, making it ideal for all interior surfaces. It flows smoothly and levels evenly, providing a flat, easy-to-sand finish that serves as an excellent base coat for both latex and oil-based paints. This primer effectively blocks bright colors and patterns and is perfect for unifying porosity in remodeled areas. It also works as a great enamel undercoat for new wood, resisting grain-raise and sanding easily within just one hour. The primed surface is ready for recoating in one hour, making it highly efficient for various projects. Suitable for priming and sealing interior walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and paneling, it is recommended for use on new or previously painted drywall, wood, cured plaster, metal doors, and galvanized metal. Coverage is approximately 400 square feet per gallon, depending on surface porosity.
