The Makita 7-1/4” Corded Large Capacity Circular Saw is designed with a 15 AMP motor that delivers 5,800 RPM making it ideal for framers, builders, masons, carpenters and general contractors. The low guard design of this saw improves performance for bevel and narrow cuts. For added durability and straighter cuts, Makita constructed the wraparound base out of heavy gauge aluminum. The carbide-tipped framing blade is designed to withstand the harshest jobsite conditions such as plowing through nail-embedded wood. The blade is also specifically engineered to dissipate heat with Makita’s strategically placed heat vents. The tool’s built-in LED lights and dust blower adds convenience and increases visibility while the flat motor housing design increases stability when changing blades. In addition, the tool includes an AC/DC switch which allows users to connect to alternative power sources. This saw is ideal for framing walls, siding, roofs, and floors using a range of lumber (OSB, LVL, PSL, plywood and more).
