Custom Building Products Simplefix Adhesive & Grout is a ready-to-use product designed to bond and grout ceramic floor and wall tiles efficiently. It adheres well to surfaces such as concrete, plaster, drywall, cement backerboards, and exterior grade plywood, making it ideal for interior applications. This product is not suitable for shower floors or areas exposed to prolonged water or steam, nor should it be used for installing fixtures, stone tile, porcelain, Saltillo pavers, or glass tile. When used as an adhesive, apply the flat side of the trowel for a skim coat, followed immediately by additional adhesive with the notched side of the trowel, allowing 24 to 48 hours to dry before grouting. As a grout, it can be applied with a rubber grout float and should be allowed to dry for 24 hours. The formula is protected with MoldGard Technology to resist mold and mildew growth, ensuring durability and cleanliness. Tools and hands can be cleaned with water before the material dries, and any haze on tile can be removed with TileLab grout and tile cleaner. Coverage varies depending on application and trowel size, with adhesive coverage ranging from 40 to 60 square feet per gallon and grout coverage from 12 to 24 square feet per gallon, depending on wall or floor tile use.
