The SurfaceShield™ technology combined with Broan-NuTone’s powerful ventilation system, this exhaust fan is no match for microbials such as viruses, bacteria, mold and fungi. Additionally, this fan has a super-quiet sound rating of just 1.0 sone for ultimate air circulation and minimal background noise. The SurfaceShield™ also has two lighting modes: one for everyday white light and the SurfaceShield™ continuous antimicrobial violet light mode. For easy, hassle-free installation this fan offers an EzDuct™ connector which requires no attic access. It also has foldable mounting ears, a new damper and housing technology that improves airtightness. The fan also features a sleek, stack-style design that has fewer dust-collecting vent slots.
