The Makita 40V XGT® Cordless 6-1/2" Plunge Circular Saw delivers accurate cutting when combined with an optional guide rail system (sold separately) and is designed to produce minimal tear-out. This saw features a Makita-built brushless motor that provides variable speed (2,500 – 4,900 RPM) for powerful cutting. It also features Automatic Speed Change™ Technology which adjusts cutting speed and torque during the cut for optimal performance. The saw also has soft start and an electric brake for added convenience.
XGT® is a system of equipment, tools, batteries and chargers from Makita that utilize 40V max lithium-ion batteries. XGT® is engineered to deliver high power to take on high-demand applications, which lets users completely transition to a cordless job site. XGT® is equipped with advanced brushless motor engineering, intelligent digital communication, and superior durability features to out-power, outsmart and outlast the competition.
