This versatile epoxy system serves as an excellent build coat for clear linear polyurethane or varnish coatings and works effectively as a penetrating first coat for blister repairs on fiberglass boats. It is ideal for applications requiring a long pot life and low viscosity, making it suitable as the sole epoxy system for constructing wood strip canoes and kayaks. The Clear Coat is an extremely low viscosity, water-white epoxy that cures to a brilliantly clear, very tough finish without the common "amine blush" seen in some epoxy films. It contains no volatile solvents and can be accelerated in cold weather with Turbo Cure, used at a maximum of one fluid ounce per quart of resin.
