Festool 576887 CXS 18-Basic Cordless Drill. Light, compact and impressively powerful - this popular compact drill design has more torque and more power, and is now on an 18-volt platform. The 18-volt CXS 18 compact drill-driver is both small and powerful enough for everyday applications. How compact? With a length of 6-5/32" (15.6 cm) and a height of 8-1/8" (20.6 cm) (including battery), the CXS 18 is extremely compact. This also makes it perfect for narrow spaces or corners.

You will love the fast tool changes made possible with the tool-free FastFix interface and the CENTROTEC system. The CENTROTEC tool chuck is a chuck and bit holder in one that is compatible with numerous CENTROTEC accessories. It is half the size and weighs 80% less than a standard chuck; and it is exclusively found on Festool drills.

Practical and useful details, like the magnetic onboard bit holder, an adjustable LED light, and a belt clip that can be positioned for right and left handed users, make the CXS 18 a powerhouse you will reach for time and time again. It performs impressively when working with Forstner drill bits up to 1-3/8" (35 mm) and screws up to 1/4" x 9-1/2" (6x240 mm) in softwood. Both the CXS and TXS 18 drills are compatible with all Festool 18-volt lithium-ion battery packs (except for the Ergo battery pack). Germany

The Basic version is ideal for users who may already own Festool 18 V batteries and a charger.
