Festool 576118 TS 75 EQ Plungecut Saw Only. Bring the accuracy of a panel saw to any site by teaming a Festool TS 75 Plungecut Saw with a Festool Guide Rail - a combination that provides straight, splinter-free cuts on both sides of the blade right out of the box. This "saw only" version is an ideal choice for users who already own a Festool Guide Rail (sold separately).

Unlike conventional pendulum-cover circular saws, Festool's design allows the saw blade to retract into the housing giving you the option to start and end the cut accurately anywhere on the material. The spring-loaded riving knife, retracts into the housing automatically during plunge cuts. Saw close to edges, cut apertures and false joints, and cut to length.

The splinter guards on both sides of the cut - a guide rail rubber splinter guard on one side and an attachable plastic splinter guard on the other side of the blade - make glue-ready cuts a reality. Use the saws in every kind of material from solid wood, fine veneered panels and sheet goods, to all kinds, plastic, and aluminum.

Saws have 6 control and monitoring functions, including soft start, constant speed under load, step-less speed adjustment, temperature and current-triggered overload protection. The rotating dust extraction port ensures less dust and a clear view of the work piece.

TS 75 EQ - This 8-1/4" (210mm) blade saw has a 13 amp motor and will make bevel cuts from 0-45 deg. Cuts up to 2-15/16" deep straight down without the guide rail. With the guide rail it cuts 2-3/4" deep straight down and 2-1/8" deep at 45 deg. Weighs 13-1/2 lbs. Set includes Saw, 36 tooth carbide blade, splinter guard, limit stop, plug-it cord, and Systainer3 SYS3 M 437 storage case.
