The Makita 18V LXT® Cordless Compact Router Kit includes (2) 18V LXT® 5.0Ah batteries, a rapid charger, a carrying case, a plunge base, 1/4" and 3/8" collets, a straight guide, template guides, and wrenches. The Compact Router features a variable speed control dial (10,000 - 30,000 RPM) with electronic speed control to maintain constant speed under load, making this tool ideal for cabinetry and woodworking. The soft-start feature adds smoother start-ups and more accuracy when routing. To add durability on tough jobsites, Makita designed the housing and bases out of aluminum for maximum strength. Also included are dual LED lights to illuminate the work surface. For users of corded Makita Compact Routers (models RT0700C, RT0701C), the bases used with these corded routers are fully compatible with the XTR01T7. In addition, the XTR01T7 connects to Makita vacuum cleaners with the optional dust nozzle.
