The Makita 36V LXT® Cordless 25-1/2" Hedge Trimmer is built with a 6-speed dial (0-3,600 SPM) that allows users to easily match speed to application. In addition, the 25-1/2-inch dual action, double-sided shear blade increases cutting capacity while the heavy duty gear case improves durability. When paired with (2) 18V LXT® 5.0 Ah Batteries (sold separately), this tool has a run time up to 2 hours on the low setting. Another feature of this tool is the two-handed operation which is a switch that activates the motor only when the top handle and trigger are engaged. For added convenience, the rear handle can be rotated into 5 different positions during vertical and angled trimming applications. This tool is cord-less, emission-less and maintenance free allowing users to just grab and go. It is protected by Makita’s Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) which is a protective seal inside the tool that channels water and dust away from internal components. Batteries and chargers are sold separately.
