The FLEXVOLT 60V MAX* Cordless Cut-Off Saw is capable of 3-1/4 in. depth of cut and features a brushless motor that achieves 6,500 RPM. This allows for instant on, fast and efficient cuts and scores in concrete and masonry materials plus steel and rebar as well. With a rotatable, 5-position guard, the user can select the approach angle that provides optimal visibility and accessibility when cutting in tight spaces. The DCS690 also features a beltless all-metal drivetrain. This allows for a jobsite durable cut off saw that is efficient and with no belts to change, tension and maintenance. The latched and sealed battery box also keeps the battery and terminals protected from harsh jobsite conditions. In addition, the 60V MAX* Cut-Off Saw features a dual-sided water delivery system that offers an OSHA Table 1 Complaint solution for dust management when cutting concrete and masonry materials. Featuring a front handle that can be held in three positions, allowing the saw to be securely held to cut in both horizontal and vertical positions. In addition, a new heavy load indicator light provides the user with real time power and runtime feedback during demanding applications. Finally, the tool itself is Tool Connect™ Tag Ready™ (tag sold separately). Included with the kitted and bare units is one FLEXVOLT® Diamond Wheel and one FLEXVOLT® Cut-Off Wheel, each optimized for use with the 9” 60V MAX* Cut-Off Saw. With the 9” 60V MAX* Cut-Off Saw, the concrete construction user benefits from the power of the FLEXVOLT® System without the hassles of gas**. With an efficient and powerful brushless motor, the tool provides long runtime in demanding applications.
