Bluetooth enabled battery packs let you attach to any Festool Bluetooth®-compatible CLEANTEC (CT) Mobile Dust Extractor and start/stop it automatically when the cordless tool is switched on/off.Balanced with a unique ergonomic battery for optimum performance and handling, the DTSC 400 provides the same functionality of its corded counterpart but with hybrid power options - use it cordless or corded. The 18-volt 3.1 Ah Ergo-I battery provides up to 30 minutes of runtime at full power for the brushless EC-TEC motor. Thanks to Plug-It mains adapters, they can be converted into mains-powered machines quickly and easily for continuous electrical operation.With a low weight and optimum center of gravity, they guarantee comfortable cordless work. Work virtually dust-free with Jetstream® dust extraction technology to ensure a cleaner surface and work environment with longer abrasive life for better sanding results. You can choose the method of dust extraction using either the reusable long-life dust collection bag or one of Festool's mobile dust extractors. Both the Dust Bag and Extractor Hose are securely connected to the sander via the new CLEANTEC connecting system The integrated, removable Protector provides damage protection of both the pad and abutting surfaces.
